Medium deep ruby red with a bright ruby hue. Aromas of raspberry, cherry and plum jump out of the glass, with subtle hints of musk and rose petals. The palate is deliciously vibrant and juicy, the fruit flavour is in abundance and the tannins are a structural framework that gives the flavour and mouthfeel beautiful length.

This wine is all berries blackberry, raspberry and strawberry fruit but with some dusty spices as well It has a round luscious mouthfeel and good length of palate.

2020 Hickinbotham 'Jackals Run' Pinot Noir

The maritime climate of the Mornington Peninsula creates the perfect conditions to enhance the sappy plum and berry flavours in this wine. Secondary characters of truffles and cigar box will develop with careful aging.

2012 The Blok Cabernet Sauvignon

Mint and violet aromas with cassis and blueberry on the palate. Great structure and beautiful length on the finish.

2012 Karribindi Cabernet Merlot

Deep, dark red in colour with aromas of red currant and plum leading to a smooth palate of luscious red berry fruits with hints of cassis and coffee bean. This wine has a succulent tannin structure with fine length complimenting the depth of fruit flavours.

2017 Gisa Round Shiraz

This wine has all the hallmarks of a true Barossa Shiraz, with elegance and intrigue. Each parcel was kept separate until blending, to allow for the correct balance to be struck between the components, producing a wine that is better than the sum of its parts.

Please note that the vintage on these bottles may change.

Degrees of Discovery

The Winery - This is a personal journey, beginning at Tohu Wine, New Zealand's first Māori owned and operated winery, and finishing in South Australia at the family-owned operations at Rileys in Eden Valley and Stone Bridge nearby in Sevenhill.

The Region - A riesling from Eden Valley, a Chardonnay from Adelaide Hills and a Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough - it doesn't get any more classic than this. Take confidence in experiencing wines from the very regions that they were destined to be produced.

A Wine to Recommend - The toughest decision here will be whether to begin with the superbly-rated Patritti Merchant Chardonnay or save it until last. Fortunately, we've packed two. This is the culmination of a family's 100 year wine-making history in South Australia.

A Wine to Celebrate - With a number of gold medals under its belt, it feels like the Tohu Pinot Gris has started celebrating without you. But it's not too late to join the party - and what better way to elevate your next celebration.

A Wine Worth Sharing - Friends can be fussy, family even more so - but you're bound to keep them all pleasantly quiet with a selection of our favourite whites.
