2017 Clairault Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon

This wine is structured yet has a generous entry of primary red fruit, spiced plums and
wet stone. A red and black fruit core extends the entire length of the
wine, held together by tensile oak and fruit tannin and a luscious blueberry and liquorice finishes. 

FOOD PAIRING
It is best enjoyed with protein, such a slow-roast lamb and stews or meaty fish such as tuna steak. 

2018 Poachers Ridge Shiraz

The aroma is a very intense spice including black pepper and black fruits such as plums and blackberries. Good quality French oak is apparent with hints of vanilla and warm spices. When tasting the wine you can experience dry, soft, ripe and fleshy tannins that are well supported by rich black fruits and spice. There is a generous mid-palate filled with blueberry and warm spices and a peppery finish that is long and persistent.

FOOD PAIRING
Can be paired with a mild spiced Mexican stew or a low roasted leg of lamb with a touch of rosemary and garlic.

2015 The Lake House Denmark Merlot

This wine has an impressive ripe combination of black cherry and plums with a soft chocolatey mid-palate, leading to a long finish of well integrated oak and fine tannins.

FOOD PAIRING
Smoky grilled meat or Brisket and vegetables go wonderfully with this Shiraz.

2017 Mike Press Cabernet Sauvignon

The fruit was picked in late February and displayed lovely blackcurrant and black cherry flavours, with a warmth of black olives, green capsicum and mint. Maturation for 18 months in both French and American oak added vanilla and spice complexity to complete the flavour profile and produce a silky palate for your enjoyment.

FOOD PAIRING
The spice in Grenache sees it matching superbly with roasted meats and vegetables, stews, heavier game birds like turkey.
