A complex and fruit driven Pinot Gris from Marlborough's Awatere Valley. This wine shows aromas of juicy pear and citrus blossom leading to a palate of fresh quince, golden apple, and hints of sweet spice. With integrated fine phenolics and smooth acidity, this is a fresh and richly textured wine with a long and lingering finish.
Very light pale straw colour; the nose is a summer salad of white peach, custard apple, citrus and pear aromas. The palate is light, crisp and crunchy with citrus and peach flavours persist in the long refreshing finish.
The nose shows light floral notes of delicate rose petals / jasmine and lemon zest that continue on the palate. A medium weight, deliciously crisp white.
A bouquet of honeysuckle, wildflower, honeydew melon and ripe pears gives way to refreshing, light citrus flavours with a clean, tight mineral length.
Characterised by pear-drop, red apple and touches of spice. The concentrated fruit flavours are finely balanced with soft acidity and a touch of refined phenolics leading to a luscious persistent finish.
Pinot Gris from the King Valley region of Victoria has fresh flavours of pear and apple and lively acidity.
