The palate opens up to flavours, that are fruit focused and pure. Bright apple acidity lays the framework, marrying well with flavours of limes, lemon myrtle, grapefruit and rosemary. A Riesling that is seamless, the wine shows the line and length as a young wine that will delight early drinkers and reward patient drinkers.

The entry on the palate is refreshing and lively before opening with bright apple acidity and subtle texture. These layers of complexity are balanced by a crisp persistent finish.

From the Nagambie region, the colour is bright pale straw with brilliant green hues. Loaded with fresh grapefruit, citrus, ripe stone fruit, along with complex oak and flinty notes. The palate unfurls with fresh flavours of stone fruits, rock melon, grapefruit and citrus. An underlying thread of complexity coats the palate from the full use of solids and barrel fermentation, that will continue to come to the fore as the wine ages. The 2019 has a remarkable minerality and is tightly coiled with great density, balance and focused fruit.

The Mitchelton NV Blanc de Blancs Cuvee has intense and complex aromas with poise and depth of character. Bursting with white jasmine florals and grapefruit notes coupled with toasted almonds, brioche and creamy nougat. The wine is refined, elegant and complex with a long, fine bead extending on the palate. A polished and balanced finish with excellent persistence.

From the Nagambie region, 2020 Blackwood Park Riesling shows an enticing, pale straw colour with green hints in the glass. Intense and fragrant aromatics of lemon and lime blossoms, pink grapefruit and ginger spice. Fine and fragrant with a steely, wet slate acidity that drives the palate while classic Riesling flavours of lime, lemon rind and mandarin lead to a long, persistent finish.
Paired with Grilled Halloumi and fresh lemon.

Yellow peach and nectarine aromas and lightly toasted oak elements are followed by citrus blossom and subtle gun flint notes. An elegant and fresh palate of yellow peaches and nectarines against a back drop of biscuit, nougat and gun flint with a pithy, textural feel. Excellent power and length, with balanced acidity.
