2010 Tahbilk "Museum" Cabernet Sauvignon 

From the Nagambie Lakes region, this wine is deep magenta in colour, the nose and palate show a complex mix of blackberries and truffles combined with mint undertones whilst the finish is long, flavoursome and balanced with fine grain tannins. This is a rare opportunity to get your hands on an expertly aged wine at unbeatable value, from one of Australia's oldest and most well-regarded wineries.

2018 Plantagenet "Aquitaine" Cabernet Sauvignon 

From the Great Southern region, this wine is a deep ruby red. With scents of lifted blackberry, cassis and olive with subtle tobacco leaf and nuances of cedar and toasty char from the oak. The wine offers a very fine, poised palate of dark berries, olive and earth beautifully interwoven fine supple oak tannins. Deceptively densely packed with naturally derived grape structure giving the wine a firm lingering finish of cassis and tapenade

2018 Bethany "First Village" Grenache 

From the Barossa Valley region, the love affair for Grenache at Bethany continues with this serious, complex and utterly drinkable wine. A lovely vibrant dark purple, translucent and aerial. Serious and darkly fruited nose with great precision and focus, all the red fruited hallmarks of Grenache with a serious minerality. Incredibly intense palate of dense, chewy red fruits, raspberry, strawberry and cherry cola, tannins are sandy and grippy giving serious structure and age ability as well as a fresh, focused line and wonderful length to this wine.

FOOD PAIRING

Perfect with a classic round roast with olive oil, garlic, rosemary and black pepper.

 

2019 Pertaringa "Undercover" Shiraz

From the McLaren Vale region, this wine offers complex aromas of plums, dark fruits, dried herbs and hints of mint. The palate is bright and textural with dark berries, plums and subtle spices, complemented by an elegant and lengthy finish.

Try with Mongolian beef with soy and ginger chilli oil.
