From the Heathcote region, this wine is a very deep dark red hue, showing great concentration. A warm vintage shining through with an array of berries. Cherry stands proudly amongst the usual pepper and spices that the Sanguine vineyard throws up. Probably the smoothest early release Progeny to date with mouth filling richness and softening tannin with just a hint of oak in the background, as all good Progeny’s before it.
Take guidance from the food eaten in places where the wine was first created, Rome, Italy. Slow Braises, pasta and especially lamb.
From the Barossa region, this wine offers dark purple with red undertones. The aroma has a strong, forceful nose of compressed dark berries, lifted floral notes and hints of spiced oak. Powerful dark red and black fruits come to the fore with a lift of sweet aromatics curling through the palate. A hint of spice and savoury mineral character adds to the complexity and intensity. Dense and chewy tannins give a grip and texture that envelops the fruit and delivers a long and lingering finish.

From the Grampians region, this wine offers colours that are so vivid with plum red and purple hues. The Shiraz offers aromas of red and blue fruits, aniseed and mixed spice. The taste is extraordinary with black cherry, blackberry and hints of raspberry. Fine savoury tannins drag the flavours long, finishing with lingering mixed spice and a beautifully balanced texture. A truly sensational Shiraz.
Pairs lovely with a slow cooker beef pot roast.
From the Goulburn Valley region, the Don’t tell Gary Shiraz is a beautiful dark garnet colour with black cherry, blueberry and mixed spice on the nose. Hints of pepper and soft oak spice are beautifully integrated with blackberry fruits and medium-bodied silky tannins. Enjoy all year round!
